Long March history exhibition opens in Kunming

An exhibition about the history of the Red Army marching through Yunnan Province during the Long March in Kunming City, Sept. 29, 2019. The Long March covered more than 12,500 kilometers and took place from October 1934 to October 1936. It was a military maneuver carried out by the Red Army, the forerunner of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and led by the Communist Party of China, to combat the Kuomintang regime.
