

China took the top spot at the 45th WorldSkills Competition held in Kazan, Russia, on Tuesday. China finished the competition with 16 gold medals, 14 silver and 5 medals in total, putting China at the top of the medal rankings, according to the final tally announced at the closing ceremony on Tuesday night. Launched on Aug 22, the week-long event saw over 1,300 competitors from 63 countries and regions.
