As thousands of protestors flooded into Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan district on Sunday, their demonstration turned into an attack on local businesses, with several shops being vandalized or ransacked.
According to Orange News, a Hong Kong news portal, at around 7:40 pm, a group of protestors, equipped with iron bars, clubs and bricks, attacked several shops along the street, wrecking at least one restaurant and one mahjong shop.
Opening the gate of the mahjong shop with iron bars, the mob smashed the shop's glass doors, forcing people inside to leave within five minutes. The crowd left the shop after hearing the siren of patrolling police cars, advancing to neighboring blocks for further vandalism.
