The 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation
In May 2017, China held the first Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, jointly charting the course for cooperation and setting foot on the journey of multilateral cooperation based on the idea of “extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits.”
The joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative has drawn people of various countries closer to each other and enabled them to share the fruits of development.
In April of 2019, China will hold the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which is expected to propose new ideas for international cooperation, i.e. “high quality, high standard, and high level”, with the aim of further boosting the construction of the Belt and Road and striving for new progress in international cooperation so as to inject strong impetus to the building of a community of common destiny for mankind.
