The upper part of this combo photo taken in 1978 shows eight-year-old Yu Linbo drawing at home in Mudanjiang City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. At that time, Yu and his family resided in a 30-square-meter bungalow. He often suffered from frostbite indoors at home in winter. The lower part of the combo photo taken by Wang Jianwei on Nov. 13, 2018 shows 48-year-old Yu Linbo posing for a photo with his laptop at home in Mudanjiang. Yu, who is now a governmental officer, no longer has to undergo frostbite at home where the heating system can ensure over 20 degrees Celsius indoors. (Xinhua)
