Craftsman Liang Zeguang makes reeds for Lusheng at Jinying Village in Congjiang County of Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Qiandongnan, southwest China's Guizhou Province, on Oct. 16, 2018. Lusheng is an ethnic musical instrument with multiple bamboo pipes set into a wooden blowing tube. It is popular among the people of some ethnic groups living in southwestern China. Jinying Village, known for making Lusheng, still keeps the traditional Lusheng making techniques which include over 30 steps such as choosing material, installing reed and whittling sound hole. People often play the Lusheng while gathering to celebrate some major festivals. (Xinhua/Chen Yehua)
