

On September 6, the 4th Investing in Africa Forum opened in Changsha. This forum is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Finance of China, Hunan Provincial People's Government, China Development Bank and World Bank. It is an important sub-activity of the recently concluded Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum. The forum will focus on the theme of “Deepening Investment Cooperation with Africa to Promote Sustainable Development and Sharing Prosperity in China and Africa”. It will conduct policy dialogue, share investment experience, and explore business opportunities. It will further build consensus, and create a new chapter for China-Africa investment cooperation.
The forum covers six major activities, including opening ceremony; high-level roundtables; special forums; investment promotion fairs; closing ceremony and press conference. Relevant representatives, experts, and scholars will discuss and share experiences on agriculture modernization, culture and education, new energy development, healthcare, and digital economy and innovation.
This forum will last for three days.
