A 400-year-old village in Haikou, southern China’s Hainan province, recently went viral after a set of aerial photos were released online on July 8.
From above, the Wenyu village looks like a Tai Chi diagram. A pond sits in the center, surrounded by cropland covering about three hectares. Villagers’ homes have been built around the “Tai Chi diagram”.
