

The population of golden takin in the Qinling Mountains, west China’s Shaanxi province, has been growing steadily over recent years, thanks to enhanced efforts in safeguarding the region's ecosystem.
Native to the Qinling Mountains in southern Shaanxi province, the golden takin is a large, muscular, hoofed mammal. It is on the country’s first-level protection list.
