SHENZHEN, China, June 3 -- Chinese pair Ding Ning/Zhu Yuling won the women's doubles title of the ITTF World Tour China Open table tennis tournament on Sunday.
Their final opponents are the South Korea's duo Jeon Jihee/Yang Haeun. Ding and Zhu finished the final 11-9, 11-5, 4-11, 11-5.
"I was so nervous at the beginning, I wanted to bring out my best performance for my supporters, but I didn't make it. It's a pity," said Yang Haeun.
"I am glad to win the title, I hope to improve our cooperation if there is a chance to work with Ding in the future," said Zhu.
The last time Ding and Zhu won a doubles title was 3 years ago. "Three years ago, we were both young, now Ding is a grand slam winner, I am still a young player. Both of us have improved our skills and we know much more about each other now."
