Photos taken on Jan. 2 show a hotel made of ice and snow in Hulunbeier City, North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Almost all internal facilities, including beds, tables, and the library, are carved from ice.
Covering an area of 1,000 square meters, the hotel was built with 1,500 tons of ice. The hotel is expected to melt away as it gets warm in spring.
