Over 200 three-dimensionally preserved eggs of pterosaurs unearthed

Paleontologist Wang Xiaolin introduces his work to journalists in a desert in Hami, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Nov. 30, 2017. Over 200 three-dimensionally preserved eggs of pterosaurs have been unearthed in China, providing new insight into the life history of the rulers of the skies in the age of dinosaurs, scientists said Thursday. The findings on the pterosaur species, known as Hamipterus tianshanensis, were published in the U.S. journal Science. (Xinhua/Wang Fei)
