Liu Hai, a 60-year-old farmer from southwest China’s Yunnan Province who excels at painting on potatoes, went viral recently, China News reported on Nov. 7.
He has been interested in painting since he was young. He later made his hobby his career, bringing him income, but also a sense of achievement, Liu noted.
Liu has attracted wide attention since his works were displayed at an exhibition in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan, after which many people reached out to him to buy his works.
