A piece of ancient architecture more than 1,000-years-old was recently excavated from a government courtyard in Linan, east China’s Zhejiang province, China News reported on August 2.
The architecture was identified as the remains of a southern state from the Five Dynasties era, which can be traced back to a 1,000 years. Experts suggested relocation of the municipal government building in order to protect and better use the cultural heritage.
