Police in Jinan, capital city of east China’s Shandong province have helped a Zambian business woman find her precious stones.

Lorreen Chibbonta forgot jewel worth $118,000 in a taxi while on her way to a convention center for a cultural product exchange fair on July 9.
The lady who could not speak Chinese was so anxious that she turned to a staff with the curator of the fair for help. A sales manager surnamed Zhang came to Lorreen Chibbonta’s help, but she told him she neither remembered the taxi receipt nor the plate number of the car.
Zhang reported Lorreen Chibbonta’s case to the command center of the traffic police station, and the police later confirmed the plate number and got in contact with the taxi driver.

The driver, who was waiting at the railway station to pick up passengers, arrived at the convention center upon receiving the call. Lorreen Chibbonta checked her jewel and suitcase and confirmed that nothing was missing. The whole process took only about an hour. In appreciation, Lorreen Chibbonta thumbed up again and again to everyone who had helped her.
