Graduates in Guangzhou, capital city of south China’s Guangdong province, have adopted an innovative way to bid farewell to their college life, by taking pictures with all the metro station signs in the city.

Holding boards with the words “I Love Guangzhou” written on them, three students and their photographers boarded the city’s subway trains and stopped at every station to take pictures. It took them one-and-a-half day to ride the 10 subway lines across the city. In the end, 192 photos were selected out of more than 1,000 pictures.
Coming from places other than Guangzhou, two of the students said they would like to give themselves a special graduation present. The other one, being a freshman, said it was a great chance to experience Guangzhou.
The students said it was not an easy task, as Guangzhou has a very busy underground traffic system. Mostly, they had to take pictures during intervals when the passenger flow slowed.
