At 11 AM May 26, China Eastern Airlines MU5945 Boeing 737-700 aircraft taking off from the Kunming Changshui International Airport made a gentle landing on the Lancang Jingmai Airport, marking that the airport has been open to air traffic formally. Hence Pu'er became Yunnan's fourth prefecture-level city with two airports.
After the airport is open to traffic, it will take only 50 minutes to travel from Kunming to Jingmai.
