A giant grotto cluster was recently found under a small slope in Lanxi, Zhejiang province. The cluster covers an area of 3,000 meters, and roughly one-sixth of the grottoes are underwater. Supported by 15 fishtail-shaped pillars, the dome is dotted with cuts distributed in an orderly pattern. The function of the grottoes remains unknown.
