Aiming to become a science park known internationally, Xi’an HTDZ introduced itself to the world on Twitter

Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone (Xi’an HTDZ) is located in Xi’an city, one of the four civilized ancient capitals in the world, also the largest city in the Chinese section of the New Eurasia Continental Railway Bridge. As one of the earliest and the most successful Chinese science parks at the national level, the zone has attracted over 1,000 foreign capital enterprises from all over the world, including 13 Global 500 companies and 13 projects from them since 1991. Aiming to become the leading park of its kind in China and be better known around the world, Xi’an HTDZ built up its Twitter account @XAHiTech, which has attracted 7,753 followers since April 2014. Xi’an is the cradle of Chinese civilization and the starting point of the Silk Road. The State Council identified Xi’an as the third “international metropolis” after Beijing and Shanghai.
