Foreigners caught eating on Shanghai subway

Several foreigners were caught on film setting up a table, eating while riding Line 11 of the Shanghai subway on April 7. The photo was later uploaded to Sina Weibo, arousing public interest in the incident. According to the rules for rail transit passengers issued by the Shanghai Metro, eating, drinking and making loud noises in the carriages is prohibited. However, given that the rules are not legally binding, the foreigners will not be punished for their infraction.
