Spring scenery of the Honghe Hani Rice Terrace is seen in Yuanyang county, Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Yunnan province. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hani Terrace scenery mesmerizes with its many colors. When looked at from afar, zigzagging lines of the terraces look smooth and elegant, and together with the changing daylight, the scene can be truly breathtaking.(Photo by Zeng Yonghua/China Daily)
Although not exactly a major tourist destination, hordes of photographers have visited Yuanyang Rice Terraces. The landscape changes vividly throughout the year. Now as spring arrives, plants start turning green, making it the best time of year to visit.
