

On Feb. 21, Lee Pace, an actor best known for playing the role of Elvenking in the movie "The Hobbit," went to a panda breeding base in Sichuan province and got to experience the life of a panda breeder there. He was also granted the title of “panda ambassador.” While at the research base, Pace learned how to feed baby pandas with a bottle, and how to feed bigger ones with apples. In addition, he was instructed on how to prepare fodder cakes for the pandas.
