

A funeral was held on Jan. 18 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for Ke Jingwei, a 37-year-old narcotics hero, who passed away due to a cerebral hemorrhage, CCTV.com reported.
On Jan. 2, narcotics officers in Guangxi cracked a huge case, successfully arresting 12 suspects and ferreting out 10 tons of drugs, with a value of over 30 million RMB ($4.4 million).

After the major achievement, Gan, who played a significant role in cracking the case, suffered from a sudden cerebral hemorrhage on Jan. 15 after working many hours of overtime. Whenever his colleagues suggested that he take a break, Gan always refused without hesitation.
