A photo of a tired doctor lying on the floor of an operating room has gone viral online. Chinese netizens admired the doctor and showered him with respect.
Liang Ming, 58, works at the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wuhu, Anhui province. He was busy with an operation related to a massive hemorrhage in the early hours of Jan. 13. As the operation neared its end, Liang ran out of energy and sank the ground.
Liang completed seven operations on Jan. 12. His colleagues said it was not the first time he had been overcome with exhaustion at work. Liang said the most precious reward is to save the lives of patients.
