A university in western China's Shaanxi province has reportedly taken a new and drastic step to save water, installing a batch of female urinals on its two campuses.
According to a Wechat account @zhiboxian (Xi'an Livestream), the university claimed the devices can save 160 tons of water every day.
The urinals quickly became an Internet sensation, though many netizens have been wondering how they will work. The university has not yet offered an official response.
