Advanced facilities and expert physicians

All of the interviewed individuals felt that the equipment in Chinese hospitals was advanced and professional.

Another Indian gave Chinese hospitals a sore of 9 out of 10 in this regard.

While another said likewise and that equipment was more advanced in China with more tools and felt very comfortable after a recent surgery.

A Thai student studying in Shanghai also confirmed the relative degree of advancement in Chinese hospitals in the regard of technology yet there is not enough equipment distributed when compared with the conditions in Thailand. From what he has witnessed, he believes that the facilities and level of doctors in China are high.

However, he has this feeling only from observing those hospitals in big cities. He thinks that in many other small cities and towns, the hospital system there should have problems regarding both facilities and level of doctors.

Having many people leads to a bad environment which is hard to tolerate

Having too many patients causes inconvenience and poor environments in hospitals. It is generally the most overwhelming thing for people coming to the hospitals which lead to lower hygienic conditions in the hospitals including stinky toilets, bacterial infested outpatient offices, and dirty indoor environments that are very unhealthy for everyone.

In the regard of hygiene, when compared with hospitals in western world, hospitals in China need to be highly improved. Although this sort of situation is normally seen in public hospitals, while in private hospitals, the hygienic condition is much better.
