On the afternoon of November 2, 2015, Lv Yongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. (or Bright Food for short), met with Gerhard Schröder, Senior Consultant of the Edmond de Rothschild Group (or the Group for short) and former Chancellor of Germany, and his entourage.
After giving a warm welcome to Mr. Gerhard Schröder and his entourage, Chairman Lv expressed his thanks to the Group for its longtime support for Bright Food, and introduced the delegation to Bright Food's strategy for growing its business, its mission as a business, and the progress of its various efforts to go global; Chairman Lv expressed the hope that the Group would continue to help Bright Food develop, and asked Mr. Gerhard Schröder for his suggestions on how Bright Food should establish a presence in Europe and his views on how the euro would develop as a currency in the future.
In reply to Chairman Lv's request for his input, Mr. Gerhard Schröder offered his suggestions and views, pointing out that he was very optimistic about the European economy and the prospects for the euro. Dr. Claus Mangold, Vice President for European operations at the Edmond de Rothschild Group, also introduced many opportunities presented by German food businesses to Chairman Lv.
