On the morning of September 25, 2015, Xijiao International Imported Products Direct Sales Center, an affiliate of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. (or Bright Food for short), was officially opened, and some of Bright Food's officials, including President Dong Qin and Vice President Zhang Hanqiang, accompanied Wu Xingbao, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Xie Qiuhui, Director of Pujiang Branch of Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, on a tour of inspection. Company officials of Xijiao International, including Chairwoman Wang Yongfang and General Manager Wu Mengqiu, gave these officials a detailed description of the center, including its floor space, the types of products it deals in, and its business model.

Deputy Director Wu approved of the business model of the center, and believed that it fits in well with its goal of becoming modernized and international; he further emphasized, however, that the center should innovate its mode of transaction continuously, and develop advanced means of transaction like electronic and online-to-offline ones, with a view to combining online operations with offline ones and therefore further enhancing the influence of Xijiao International. Director Xie Qiuhui said that his bureau would give full support to Xijiao International and provide it with efficient, convenient follow-up services. President Dong Qin expressed his thanks to Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Pujiang Branch of Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau for their generous support for Bright Food, and ordered that Xijiao International give full play to the resource-wise advantages derived from Bright Food's international strategy and make every effort to build itself into a major platform for handling Shanghai's imported products.
