On August 18, 2015, China Dairy Industry D20 Summit took place ceremoniously at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. Many senior officials attended the summit, including Wang Yang, Deputy Premier of the State Council; Han Changfu, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture; and Gao Hongbin, Director of the Dairy Association of China, etc. Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd. (or Bright Dairy for short), an affiliate of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. (or Bright Food for short), attended the summit and signed the "Beijing Declaration of China Dairy Industry D20 Summit" along with the other 19 domestic leading dairy industries.

During the summit, Deputy Premier Wang Yang paid a visit to the stand of Bright Dairy, where President Zhu Hangming of Bright Dairy introduced him to his company's flagship product Momchilovtsi, which Bright Dairy launched as the first yogurt product in China meant for storage at room temperature, which made it unnecessary to transport the product in cold conditions, thereby making it possible to deliver the product to farther regions; thanks to this breakthrough, Bright Dairy grossed a colossal over 6 billion yuan in sales in 2014. After the introduction, Deputy Premier Wang Yang made some comments to the effect that he approved of Bright Dairy's technological innovation capability and expressed the hope that Bright Dairy would continue to work hard to produce safe and delicious dairy products for the country.

China Dairy Industry D20 Summit is an initiative jointly launched by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and the top 20 domestic dairy producers with the aim of improving the Chinese dairy industry's overall image, providing a venue so that major issues related to its development may be discussed, and promoting its healthy development. At the summit, the 20 dairy producers jointly issued the Beijing Declaration, a statement about Chinese-made formula products, with a view to improving the competitive edge of China's dairy industry.

During the High-Level Dialog on China's Dairy Industry, President Zhu Hangming delivered the keynote speech. Zhu pointed out in his speech that Bright Dairy had stuck to an approach to development that features close integration across the value chain of the diary industry and in which dairy products are placed front and center, and that it had been speed up its development by subdividing the market and expanding its sales network. At present, for its effort to integrate all resources at its disposal across the industry chain into an organic whole to come to fruition, Bright Dairy has to take a three-pronged approach, said Zhu. First, Bright Dairy will speed up its deployment of resources in the upper links of the chain and its business development there, and try to become a technology leader in China's milk cow industry. Second, Bright Dairy will build world-class dairy product plants that are internationally competitive by increasing its investment in research and development projects and upgrading its pilot plants. Third, Bright Dairy will improve the competitive edge of its cold-chain logistics & distribution service system with the aim of providing consumers with safe, excellent products, said Zhu.

In recent years, Bright Dairy has been actively using its global resources to promote the development of the industry; in fact, by carrying out assets operations like mergers and acquisitions, Bright Dairy has forged alliances with foreign businesses, and by doing so, has increased the scale of its operations, increased its profits, and strengthened its position in the market. Bright Dairy will continue sticking to Bright Food's strategies, making full use of its overseas resources, improving its business capability further, and achieving greater synergy, so as to make greater contributions to Bright Food's future development and its effort to grow bigger and stronger, said Zhu. As to the difficulties and challenges to be encountered as Bright Dairy presses ahead with its plans for integrating all resources across the industry chain, Zhu also put forward some suggestions and countermeasures.
