A high-speed train derailed near Strasbourg, France, on November 14, 2015, killing at least 10 and seriously injuring 10 others.
The train was on a test run on a new Paris-Strasbourg line, when it derailed, caught fire, and part of it plunged into a canal. 49 railway technicians were on board.
The derailment was due to "excessive speed", according to an official.
The Paris-Strasbourg line was originally scheduled to be put to use next year.
