On October 12, 2015, Lv Yongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. (or Bright food for short), and his entourage went on a tour of inspection of Weetabix South Africa in Cape Town, South Africa.
Accompanied by Chief Executive Officer Leonard Mead of Weetabix South Africa, Chairman Lv and his entourage went to many business outlets in Cape Town, including large malls, supermarkets, and convenience stores, to learn how well Weetabix products had been selling in the local market and how well Weetabix had been promoted as a brand there. Chairman Lv also paid a visit to the production facilities of Weetabix South Africa with a view to learning how well its production had been faring there. Chairman Lv also met with the middle management of Weetabix South Africa, expressing gratitude to its entire staff and his appreciation of the outstanding team it had built up; Chairman Lv pointed out that Weetabix South Africa had been able to keep its operational cost low, which would make it easy for Weetabix to deploy its global resources flexibly; Chairman Lv also invited Leonard Mead to visit China someday.
