Vietnamese PM meets CPPCC Vice Chairman in Hanoi

HANOI, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Friday.

Dung said at the meeting that Ho's visit is a practical contribution to promoting cooperation between Vietnam and China in all fields.

The prime minister emphasized the traditional friendly relations between the two countries, affirming that Vietnam will make great efforts together with China to make the relation more extensive and effective for the sake of both sides.

As there is huge potential in further cooperation, Dung proposed the two sides to create more favorable conditions for enterprises to promote economic, trade and investment exchanges.

Ho Hau Wah, for his part, said that the results achieved in the past years of comprehensive strategic partnership have brought tangible benefits to the development of both countries.

Affirming that China always attaches great importance to promoting cooperation with Vietnam, Ho said the purpose of his visit is to further strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries and two peoples in all fields, especially in economy, trade and investment.

Ho also wished Vietnam to create favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises to invest long-term in the country.
