A 29-year-old man in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province has been arrested for raping a neighbors' two-year-old daughter, local media reported.

The man surnamed Wang is a migrant from Hubei Province. He appeared very friendly to the two-year-old girl and her family living in the same building, said the girl's mother.

The girl even called him "uncle" as Wang, who lived on the fourth floor, would often visit the family on the third floor to play with the girl, the mother said.

She said her daughter went to Wang's apartment alone on the evening of October 26 as she was watching her husband playing mahjong. But the girl kept crying with pain after she came home.

Police said Wang hugged the girl and kissed her in his room. As he found she came alone, he began to rape her.
