The British man who allegedly molested a young woman on Xuanwumenwai Dajie three weeks ago was deported yesterday, Beijing police confirmed with the Global Times.
The man, whose name was never revealed, was arrested on charges of indecency on May 8 when he was seen standing over a woman lying on her back crying, her dress rucked up and underwear showing. Police refused to give details of his repatriation yesterday.
A cellphone video showed the man being stopped during the alleged assault and then beaten up by a few Chinese men.
