China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator in terms of subscribers, remains atop the table for 3G user population in China, adding 5.65 million in new users in April, bringing it to 120.02 million 3G customers total, according to figures announced Monday by the telco.
Its 3G user base has expanded at a faster pace since the beginning of 2013.
In comparison, its two smaller domestic rivals, China Unicom and China Telecom, saw 4.08 million and 3.07 million in new 3G users in April respectively, according to data released Monday by the two operators.
