CMC vice chairman visits Belarus and Ukraine

BEIJING, May 17, (ChinaMil) -- Xu Qiliang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), left Beijing on May 16 for Belarus and Ukraine to pay an official goodwill visit to the two countries.

Xu's major entourage includes Qi Jianguo, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), and Li Changcai, political commissar of the PLA Lanzhou Military Area Command.
