China stocks open lower Monday

BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index off 0.12 percent to open at 2,150.65.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,647.42, down 0.13 percent from the previous close.
