On June 4, Ge Junjie, vice president of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. and chairman of Shanghai Tangjiu (Group) Co., Ltd., met with Paul Stahle, an officer with U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai. Both parties conducted in-depth communications on investment of Chinese enterprises in the American market.
During the meeting, Ge introduced to the visiting guests what Bright Food Group and Shanghai Tangjiu Group had achieved during recent years in their expedition into overseas market and M&A of overseas enterprises. After gaining a thorough understanding of these extraordinary achievements, Stahle said that the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai would do whatever it can to help Chinese enterprises better understand the American market and guarantee the smooth flow of information between both sides. Meanwhile, Stahle also encouraged more Chinese enterprises to go to the U.S. for study and investment.
Ge said that after successfully wrapping up a series of global M&A projects during recent years as part of its overseas expedition efforts, Bright Food Group would further focus on its key business and deepen its globalization strategy. Ge hoped the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai would, as usual, play an active role in bringing together the two sides and introducing more reliable investment projects to Chinese enterprises.
Heads from headquarters of Bright Food Group also attended the meeting.
