'Peace Ark' hospital ship replenished

GULF OF ADEN, July 11 (ChinaMil) -- The "Peace Ark" hospital ship of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN), which is implementing the task of "Harmonious Mission - 2013", arrived in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean on the morning of July 9, local time, to rendezvous with the comprehensive supply ship of the 14th naval escort taskforce and carry out longitudinal fuel replenishment. This is the second time for the "Peace Ark" hospital ship to head for the Gulf of Aden to provide medical services.

It is reported that starting from July 12, local time, the "Peace Ark" will provide such medical services as medical examination, outpatient clinics, rest and recuperation for the officers and men of the 14th escort taskforce's Harbin destroyer, the "Weishan Lake" ship and the Mianyang warship. At the same time, it will also offer humanitarian medical services to other country's escort ships and merchant ships.
