Airplanes: avoiding fight delays
It is predicted that t 35.5 million people will travel by air during the Spring Festival of this year. Officials from the Civil Aviation Administration said that there will be nearly 10 thousand flights with more than one million seats daily, the total capacity is greater than the passenger demand. However, some tickets of hot lines will be hard to get during the Spring Festival travel season.
Flight delay is a headachy problem for almost all the passengers. Xia Xinghua, Deputy Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said that airports, air traffic controls and airlines will make the policy of flight releasing mechanism cooperatively this year, so as to improve the capacity of flight release under extreme weather conditions.
Self-driving cars: the importance of guaranteed gridlock-free roads
Li Gang, Director of Road Department of Transport Ministry, said, “More people will go back home by self-driving cars as a result of the free highway tolls policy for cars during the Spring Festival.”
“The priority for transport department is to provide gridlock-free roads for those who go back home by self-driving cars.” Li Gang said that highway management departments at all levels will take many measures to provide gridlock-free roads during the Spring Festival.
