"In Chinese society, we can hear many complaints about the absence of fatherly love. In fact, the love does exist, but oftentimes the fathers are found to be little involved in domestic affairs. Dongzi is just beside us, and as he mentioned in his book, he's not a big man, and his daughter is not a magical baby either. I think we can also do what he has done for his daughter. I sincerely hope that this book will reach as many families as it can to spread the happiness about being a father."
Traditionally, Chinese fathers spend less effort on family affairs including children's care and upbringing. But Donzi's book intends to advocate more of father's involvement since it believes that a father's quality care will be vital in fostering a child's character.
