"I have written 30 books over the past decade. My new book "The Happiness of Being a Father" took me the longest to write, and of all my works I've also devoted my utmost concentration and energy to it."

Dongzi spent 16 years taking detailed notes of how he was taking care of his only daughter at home. He says some fathers may be financially capable and can afford a comfortable life for his children, but that doesn't guarantee a good father.

He says a good father should give his child adequate care and protection as well as being a provider of emotional nourishment. He further interprets his understanding of the happiness of being a good father.
