"As a father, I think the real happiness doesn't lie in your good earnings, becoming an official or gaining much fame, but a good contribution to cultivating children's healthy personalities, which includes being happy, active, self-confident and optimistic as well as having good comprehensive qualities."

Under Dongzi's instruction, his daughter, Fan-jiang-guo-yi, completed primary school in just three and a half years, while her junior high studies took only two and a half years. Consequently, she enrolled in a good college at age of 15 -- three years earlier than her peers.

Many readers at the book promotion event felt inspired with Dongzi's experience.Wen Zhigang, Director of the Promotional Center for Fatherly Involvement, is one of them.
