Trade fair highlights China's thriving trade in services

The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), launched in 2012, is scheduled from August 31 to September 5 in Beijing this year.

More than 2,400 companies are participating in the exhibition offline.

Among them are around 400 Global Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises.

The fair is being held at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park.

The exhibition covers an area of about 152,000 square meters, an increase from 126,000 square meters last year.

The fair will host 100 forums, conferences, promotion events and talks.

China's trade in services has witnessed rapid development from 2012 to 2021.

Imports and exports of China's services witnessed a 6.1 percent average annual growth from 2012 to 2021, 3.1 percentage points higher than the global average during the same period.
