China's Xinjiang witnesses brisk growth in economy and social affairs (4)
Staff members and passengers dance together in a passenger car of train No. K9756 from Korla to Yetimbulak in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Dec. 9, 2020. Train No. K9756 set out for the first time on that day, which also marked the official operation of the 1,206-km Golmud-Korla railway linking Golmud City in Qinghai Province and Korla City in Xinjiang, both in northwest China. Adhering to the "people-centered" philosophy of development, Xinjiang has witnessed a brisk growth in both its economy and social affairs. With steadily increased input in projects for public well-being, people of all ethnic groups now have equal opportunities to develop their careers, to contribute to regional construction, and to share a happy life and effectively ensured economic rights.
