Joseph Yam Chi-kwong, former chief executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, is optimistic about the impact of the new Hong Kong national security law.
“This is really great and I look forward to the passing of the Hong Kong national security law,” he said.
There is a chance for Hong Kong society to end this period of unrest, he added.
