BEIJING, Aug. -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Thursday underscored the importance of consistency in carrying out the Party's education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission."
Chen Xi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy chief of the leading group of the campaign, stressed more supervision and guidance efforts at a meeting with representatives from the campaign's central instructing groups.
Chen stressed the need to supervise the rectification of prominent problems spotted during the campaign and form long-term mechanisms, as well as explore better and more effective ways to carry out supervision and guidance work.
The campaign has been carried out nationwide since May 31.
