BEIJING, July 29 -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Monday stressed studies of the publicity affairs regulation of the CPC as an important political task.
Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said the regulation is the Party's first fundamental regulation on publicity affairs and is a milestone for the Party's history of publicity affairs development.
The formulation of the regulation is to meet urgent needs, inherit and carry forward the Party's fine traditions on publicity affairs, implement the Party's innovation theories, adhere to the Party's overall leadership on publicity affairs and enhance the scientization, standardization and institutionalization of publicity affairs, Huang said.
He also called for continuously improving publicity affairs with high political and disciplinary consciousness.
