
With the implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Security Services in 2010, security guards who provide“escort” services are legitimate in China and the bodyguards become a significant force in China’s social security system and even in the Chinese enterprises’“going out” process. Data shows about 4,000 security companies are licensed in China and about 4,500,000 security personnel are employed following strict training.
