China is ready to be the most "sincere and long standing cooperation partner" of the Philippines as its moves along the road to future development.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi made the remarks during a joint press conference with his Philippine counterpart Alan Peter Cayetano on Tuesday in Manila.
Wang Yi is on two-day official visit to Manila upon the invitation of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano.
Wang's reciprocal visit comes after Cayetano's visit to China from June 28 to July 1.
Wang arrived in the Philippines after visiting Thailand on Monday.
